Caesar Bay House

Type
Beach house — exteriors
Location
North Coast, Egypt

A beach house on the North Coast, organised around a pergola that runs the whole terrace. The structure throws a band of shadow across the deck and the water, and that shadow is the subject of half these frames — it only reads for a few hours either side of midday.

The stair between two white walls, open to the sky.
The house from the far side of the pool, glazing open to the terrace.
Pool and terrace with the pergola running the length of the house.
Pergola shadows falling across the terrace and the water.
The pergola from the lawn, loungers along the pool edge.

Everything here happens outdoors, so the set stays outside: terrace, pool, table, and the details underfoot.

Outdoor sofa under the pergola, planting closing the boundary.
Dining and seating on the terrace in full sun.
The long table set under the pergola beside the pool.
Dining under the pergola, shadow bars across the deck.
Pool corner with the pergola shadow on the water.
Bench detail: concrete, cushion and planting.
Close detail: pool mosaic meeting stone in raking light.
